James (Jim) E. Dyche, 94, of Wilmore, KY passed on July 5, 2018. He was given an Honor Guard burial by the military at Camp Nelson National Cemetery on July 10, 2018.
He was a highly decorated WWII veteran and, at his passing, resided at Thompson-Hood Veteran Center in Wilmore, KY. His life was lived being a loving Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. Fishing was his favorite pastime.
His wife, Mary Jane Dyche and two of his children, Richard and Sherry, preceded him in passing as had his Mother, Father, and another brother and sister. He is survived by his sister, Wilma Hocker of Knoxville, TN and other children, Connie Blair of Lexington, KY; Pat (Mike) Forbes of Wilmore, K; Rock (Sue) Mills of Lexington, KY; Lynne Mills and Raejuana Mills of Wilmore, KY, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
It was his request that any donations be made to the Camp Nelson Honor Guard of Jessamine County, KY who provide military burials to all KY military veterans upon request. This is an all volunteer organization.
The family would like to thank Thompson-Hood Veterans Center for the loving care of he, and his veteran family there.
