Nicholasville-James Harley McCollum, 63, husband of Eva McCollum, of Burton Lane, died December 6, 2008 after an extended illness. He was born September 25, 1945, son of Lula Mae Phillips McCollum of Cartersville, and the late Harley Floyd McCollum. He was an employee of W/W Repair for 15 years. Additional survivors include daughters Eleanor King, Jennifer Stinnett and Jessica West, a son, Jeffery McCollum, all of Nicholasville, , a guardian son/grandson, Thomas Chapman eleven grandchildren, Rodney and Cynthia Jones, Robin and Josh Stinnett, Gene, Daniel, Rumor, Jaxson and Stevie McCollum, Tiffany and Taylor West, three sisters, five brothers, a brother in law, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, and two brothers, Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Schwarz officiating.
