James Luther Morris, 54, husband of Ramona Montgomery Morris, died December 1, 2013 after a battle with cancer. He was born March 9, 1959 in Jessamine County to James 'Jim' Morris and the late Pamela Ann Cuzick Morris. Additional survivors are a son, James Luther (Gretchen) Morris Jr., a granddaughter, Jocelynn Laramie Morris, a sister, Darlene Sagraves, a brother, Douglas Morris and other family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Wayne Morris. Services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service.
