James Nealey Lunsford

James Nealy Lunsford, age 42, passed away December 5, 2023, in Somerset, Kentucky. He was born on October 23, 1981, in Lexington, Kentucky to James Lunsford and Jeanie Wells. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Darrell (Quetta) Thomas, Christopher (Aime) Haney and one sister Gina (James) Hamlin, longtime girlfriend Debbie Tandy, his best friend in the world his dog Courage. He also survived by nieces and nephews, Zachary, Mya, Trixton, Shanalee, Tom Tom, Patrick, Cheyenne, Shayla and Dustin, he also leaves behind a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Whitnel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10AM-12PM Monday at the Funeral Home. Bearers will be Travis Cuzick, Bill Lunsford, James and Dustin Hamlin, Darrell Thomas and Christopher Haney In lieu of flowers donation are suggested to Betts & West Funeral Home to offset Funeral expenses.
