James William Rader

James William Rader, 75, widower of Wilma Boone Rader, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at his home on Brookview Drive, Nicholasville. He was born in Nicholasville on August 20, 1948, to the late James Leonard Rader and Stella B. Reynolds Rader. James was retired from the University of Kentucky, where he worked in distribution for the Agricultural Department. He is survived by his son, Tim Rader; daughter, Tonya Kenney (Kevin Seibert); grandchildren, Hannah Hughes (Jake), and Sierra Morgan; as well as great-grandchildren, Noah Hughes, Aria Hughes, and Elenor Hughes. Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 26, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Randall Lister officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the time of service, Thursday evening at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Rader family in their time of need.
