Jarvis Donald Stargel

Jarvis Donald Stargel, 80, husband of Loutricia Stargel, of Shepherdsville, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born in Russell Springs on May 31, 1942, to the late Glen Okle Stargel and Laura Lorraine Long Stargel. Jarvis wore many hats in his time on this earth and was proud to be a US Army Veteran. He also attended Maryville Baptist Church in Hillview, Kentucky. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Loutricia; son, Jason Stargel; and siblings, Al (Helen), Joyce, Royce, Pearl, Linda, Wanda, and Wayne. He is preceded by a brother, Gary Stargel. Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 16, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Josh Smith officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, where family and friends will serve as bearers. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Stargel family in their time of need.
