Jeremy Wayne Hunter

Jeremy Wayne Hunter, 40, passed Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was born October 7, 1975 in Harrodsburg, KY to Janrose Davis Dawson and the late Wayne Clay Hunter. Jeremy had attended Oneida Baptist Institute where he played basketball and soccer and was an avid UK fan. He was a volunteer cook at Embrace Methodist Church in Lexington for the homeless. Family survivors are two children, Jordan and Katelin Hunter, a sister, Mary Lou Hunter (Billy) James, five step siblings, Glenn and Brian Dawson, Blair (Deana) Dawson, Donna (Michael) Carey, Leslie (Doug) Hamand, two aunts, Margie King and Francis Collins and other family members and friends. Jeremy was also preceded in death by a brother, Herbie Hunter and a step father, Dusty Dawson. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor John Gallaher officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as bearers.
