Jerome "Jerry" Woodward

Jerome -Jerry- Woodward, 73, widower of Ima Jean Hager Woodward, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Jerome was born May 14, 1935 in Corydon, IN to the late John Edward and Mary Alice Padgett Woodward. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and student of the Culinary Institute at Sullivan University. Survivors are a daughter and her husband, Laura Jean and Todd Sponcil-Wilmore, a son and his wife, John and Marsha Woodward-Florence, three grandchildren, John Woodward Jr., Emily Wiley and Lacey Sponcil, a brother, John David (Tammy) Woodward-Muldraugh and other family members. Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm at Betts & West Funeral Home and Saturday from 12:00 pm until time of service at the church.
