Jerry Jackson Vanderpool

Jerry Jackson Vanderpool, 63, widower of Rebecca Ruth Roland Vanderpool, a long time native of Jessamine County, passed away October 20, 2008. He was born November 16, 1944 in Danville to the late Eugene Glass and Grace Duncan Vanderpool. Jerry was the owner and manager of KY Trade Bindery and an active member of Brookside Baptist Church. Remaining family members include a daughter, Jenny (James) Doolin and their daughter Jessica of Nicholasville, a stepson Linny (Angie) Cloyd and their two daughters, Katie and Allison of Florence, two brothers, Gene (Bonnie) Vanderpool of IN, Scotty (Judee) Vanderpool of Danville and a sister in law, Jackie Vanderpool of FL and other family members. He was also preceded in death by an older brother, William Mac Vanderpool of FL. Graveside services will be 11:30 am Thursday in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dewayne Brewer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 pm at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be David and Jonathan Vanderpool and Josh and Justin Peel. Honorary bearers will be his Adult Men-s Class at Brookside Baptist Church. Contributions are suggested to Brookside Baptist Church. www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com
