Jo Ann Flynn Mckenzie

Jo Ann Flynn McKenzie, 76, wife of Edward Wayne McKenzie, passed Friday, August 5, 2016. She was born September 3, 1939 in Bourbon County to the late William and Evalee Kincaid Flynn. Jo Ann loved gardening, canning and crocheting. At one time she was Cub Scout Leader of Troop 348 and also drove a semi truck for a few years but most of all she loved to be with her family. Additional survivors are four children, Melissa Ann (Lonnie) Noe, Kimberly Sue (David) Rowland, Cathy Jo (Tommy) Sanders and Billy Wayne (Michelle) McKenzie, thirteen grandchildren, six step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, two sisters, Patsy Nichols and Joyce Bills, a special sister in law, Connie Clinkenbeard and many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jeffrey Aubrey, Joshua Aubrey, Hunter Sanders, Matthew Smith, Zymere Thomas, Michael Aubrey, Dylan Baker and Cody McKenzie.
