Joan W. Eastman

Joan W. Eastman, 77, widow of George Eastman, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 after a brief illness. Joan was born January 12, 1931 in Boston, MA to the late Ray and Alice Holland Wallace (Tonis). She was a retired realtor for over 30 years, member of Pax Christi Catholic Church in Lexington and a volunteer at Jessamine County Public Library. Survivors are her children, Colleen (Jon) Hall of Harrodsburg, George -Ace- (Jennifer) Eastman, Peter (Rina) Eastman, Donald (Kathy) Seipel, Marie (Peter) Carletti, Theresa (Sean) Folan, Joan Halloran, and Linda Monte, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Barry (Terrie) Wallace and numerous other family members. Joan was also preceded in death by a special friend, James Gugeler. Memorial services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Pax Christi Catholic Church with Rev. Richard D. Edelen officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM Tuesday until time of service.
