John William Canter IV, 49, husband of Amanda Kay Cockerham Canter, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home in Nicholasville. He was born on July 10, 1975, to John William Canter III and Karen Wilkins Canter. He worked for the City of Nicholasville. He is survived by his wife, Amanda; stepson, Angel Martinez Jr.; stepdaughters, Celina Maria Jean-Francois (Jeremy), and Isabella Marianna Martinez; and sister, Andrea Bailey. He is preceded in death by an infant sister. Private family services will be held in remembrance of John, with arrangements by Betts & West Funeral Home.
