'Mackey', John Everett, 40, Husband and partner of Janine Mackey for 23 years, passed away Monday November 9, 2015 at UK hospital. John's passing followed injuries sustained after being struck by a moving vehicle while on duty. Lifetime resident of Jessamine County, John served his community for the past 16 years with Jessamine County EMS. Labeled by many coworkers as one of the finest paramedics, John has committed his life to healing the broken both on and off the job. Continuing his legacy, John was privileged with the ability to become an organ donor, and in his passing will be able to continue to improve the lives of others. His dynamic and full life included countless community services including volunteering his medical services and helping at youth activities. He was a craftsman and an artist that enjoyed paintball, gaming, and music of all kinds and was a well-loved and memorable member of the Renn Faire community. John is survived in death by a Son James Connor, Daughters Morgan and Brianna, Parents Joe and Doris Kinney, Brother Mike, Sister Deb, Paternal Grandmother Alberta Mackey, Father and Mother in law Ron and Vicki Kline, Sister-in-law Alisha Hauser, several Nieces, and Nephews, and countless others he called his own. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2015 at Bethel Harvest Church with Associate Chaplin Andy Carter officiating.
