John Taylor Frankenburger, 49, husband of Diana Paul Frankenburger of Nicholasville, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 after a lengthy illness. He was born June 19, 1958 in

Flossmoor, Illinois to John Paul and Garnet Rae Clugh Frankenburger of Akron, OH. John-s hobbies were photography and spending time with his family. He was a member of Nicholasville Presbyterian Church and attended Southland Christian Church. John was a retired United Parcel Service delivery driver for the U.K. area till 2000, then worked the customer counter for five more years. John was an avid soccer fan, coached recreational soccer in Jessamine County and assisted in establishing the `87 Girls Storm select team. He most enjoyed watching the own children play and was their biggest fan. John is also survived by his children, Emily Grace, Matthew Paul and Zachary Taylor Frankenburger of Nicholasville, sisters, Elizabeth A. Forbes and Amy (Mike) S. Haddan of FL, sister in law, Lorri Paul of Lexington, niece, Susan Forbes, nephews, J.D. Forbes, Roy and Jimmy Haddan of FL. He was preceded in death by a daughter Charity Frankenburger. Services will be 11:00am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Ked Frank and David Oatts officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
