Joseph Casey Carr

Joseph 'Casey' Carr, 41, passed away on October 6, 2015. Casey was born March 4, 1974 in Lexington, KY and lived most of his life in central Kentucky. Casey was raised primarily in Jessamine County. He attended schools in Jessamine County, Garrard County, and graduated from Boyd County High School. Casey was a member of Bethel Christian Church in Nicholasville, KY. He enjoyed spending time at his childhood home on Herrington Lake and will be best remembered for his love of life and infectious smile. Casey is survived by his parents, Mike Carr (Jeanie) and Danielle Kearns (Randy); two beloved daughters, Delaney Carr and Kelsey Carr; their mother, Jeanna Carr; two grandmothers, Mildred Carr and Marylou Donovan; his siblings, Ashley Carr Cruickshank (Chris), William Taylor (Rachel), Amy Kearns, Faith Kearns, and Donovan Kearns; two nieces and a nephew, Savannah Carr, Rylie Taylor, and Carrson Cruickshank; and many friends with unforgettable memories. Casey was preceded in death by two very special grandfathers, John Carr and James (JD) Donovan; his close friend and cousin, Micah Lawrence; and two uncles, Captain Phillip Donovan and Mike Donovan. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Betts and West Funeral Home in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will precede the service from 3-6 pm.
