Joseph L. Poage

Joseph L. Poage, 85 widower of Margaret Mickler Poage, passed away October 15, 2015. He was born on June 16, 1930 in Brooksville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Louise Blackerby Poage. Joseph was the original founder of Poage Engineering and was the current owner and structural engineer of JMP, Inc. He was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Joseph was also a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by three sons Michael Joseph (Cathy) Poage, Mark Jordan (Jennifer) Poage and Mathew John (Sarah) Poage, two daughters, Margaret Kim (Karl) Tomaschko and Sonya Kay Poage, grandchildren Garth (Alma) Poage Tomaschko, Kirk Aubrey Tomaschko, Megan Elizabeth Poage, Allison Nicole Poage, Andrea Nicole Poage, Adrian Jordan Poage, Layne Michael Poage, Shawn Matthew Poage, Kylie Katherine Poage, Maggie Evelyn Poage, Joseph Michael Poage, Claire Elizabeth Poage, Emily Smith and Madison Virginia Olmsted Poage and one great grandchild Aiden Joseph Poage, one brother Bobby Poage. He was also preceded in death by two siblings Bertha Ross Hough and Billy Poage. Funeral service will be conducted at 11AM Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father William Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
