Juanita Joan Halderman Humphrey

Juanita Joan Halderman Humphrey, 79, widow of Harold Bowman Humphrey, of McCauley Road, died Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born in Jessamine County on August 11, 1935 the daughter of the late Thomas Robert Halderman and Pearl Bryant Reynolds Shanklin. Mrs. Humphrey was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and sewing and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by four children, Debby Kay (late husband JB) Johnson, James Harold (Linda) Humphrey, Barry Edward ( partner Robin) Humphrey and Bob (Debby) Humphrey, six grandchildren, Steven Ray (Deborah) Saylor, Regina (Levi) McIntosh, Jessica Ann (Will) Jones, Kayla Marie Humphrey, Mike Levi Humphrey, Heather Humphrey, twelve great grandchildren, Bryan Scott Williams, Paula Forbes, Jordan Saylor, Viviann Rose Jones, Tyler Bowman Humphrey, Abigail Humphrey, Harley Humphrey, Bowman Walker, Jarod Murphy, Wyatt Creech, Gabriel Utterback and Wesson Utterback. She is also survived by two siblings Connie (Danny) Hogue and Johnny (Judy) Halderman. Juanita also leaves behind a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Brenda Humphrey, two brothers Thomas Robert and Richard Halderman, two sisters Lucy Nichols and Marie Shanklin and one son in law JB Johnson. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM Thursday February 12, 2015 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Basil Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
