Judy Francis May Hammonds

Judy Francis May Hammonds, 70, wife of Gary Hammonds, passed Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born November 6, 1946 in Louisa, KY to the late Patrick and Fay Preston May. Judy was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and the Lexington Women's Bowling League. She was an avid UK basketball fan, and liked to bowl and play bingo. Family survivors are three children, Tracy (William) Peel, Corey (Whitney) Hammonds, Joshua (Amanda) Hammonds, six grandchildren, Zachary Hammonds, Stephanie (Joshuha) Sparks, Brady Hammonds, Mayson Hammonds, Aubree Hammonds, Ava Hammonds, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Karen (Lonnie) Fields, three brothers, Danny (Linda) May, Patrick (Ellen) May, Kevin (Sheryl) May and other family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Spears, and a brother, David May. Service will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Saturday until time of service at the church. Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
