Julius Robert Lopat

Julius Robert Lopat, 95, husband of Emilienne passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015. He was born on August 14, 1919 in New York to the late Samuel and Ida Krout Lopat. Julius was a retired lithographer, a U.S. Army Veteran and a Honorable Kentucky Colonel. Julius is also survived by two daughters Carole Nancy (B.G.) Lopat Hubbs and Annette Marion (David) Lopat Shapiro, four grandchildren Jason and Gregory Shapiro, Nicole Hamm and Nancy Dahms. Julius is also preceded in death by seven siblings. Graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday at the Betts & West Funeral Home.
