Karen Faye Canter East

Karen Faye Canter East, 49, died Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Lexington, KY. She was born on December 1, 1967 In Lexington, Kentucky to Thera Faye Bruner Canter the late Edmond Horace. She was a nurse and a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Additional survivors include two sons, Alex East and Wade East; two brothers, Eric (Libby) Canter and John E. (Cindy) Canter; sister in law, Teresa Canter., nephews, Will Canter and Michael Canter, nieces, Katie (Brandon) Barnes, Amy (Ryan) Peterson, Laura Canter and Jenna Canter, great-niece, Riley Barnes and great-nephew, Camden Peterson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Keith Canter and Marvin Canter. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brad Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-8:00PM Monday at the funeral home and from noon to service time on Tuesday. Bearers will be Ira Bruner, Jr, B.C. Bruner, Wayne Montgomery, Glenn Montgomery, David Canter and Jerry Carter. Her cousins will serve as Honorary Bearers.
