Kenneth Gregory Witt

Kenneth Gregory Witt , 97, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

He was a longtime resident of Nicholasville, a member of the Baptist church community and as a WWII Army Veteran and POW, he recently resided at Thomson Hood Veterans Center.

He owned a small business, Nicholasville Appliance Store and after retirement, enjoyed a second career with Walmart until age 90.

A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend he will be missed by all.

Kenneth was preceded in death by parents Sanford Witt and Hallie Sowers Witt, wife, Beulah Witt, sisters Anita Curry and Margaret Bishop and brother Donald Witt.

Survivors include son Ralph (Carolyn) Witt, daughter Barbara (Brian) Isham,
three grandchildren, Bryan (Amy)Witt,
John(Kimberly)Duncan, Ashlee (Josh) Ellinger, five great grandchildren,
Lily, Nate and Carson Ellinger and Henry and August Duncan, sister, Edith Renfro and brother, Wallace Witt.

The family requests donations in Kenneth’s memory be made to the Jessamine County Food Pantry or Thomson Hood Veterans Center. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
