Kenneth Jesse Haggard, 86, husband of Mona Marie Long Haggard, went to Heaven Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home. He was born June 6, 1927 in Clark County, KY to the late Roy D. Haggard Jr. and Sadie Belle Brock Haggard . Kenneth was a retired employee of Eubank and Steel Construction Company was a member of Allensville Baptist Church in Winchester, KY and a WWII Army Veteran. Survivors are three children, Leann (Billy Joe) Smith, Sandy (Ray) Yarnell, Janet Wills, three grandchildren, Christy (Gary) Cariel, Brandon (Carrie) Johnson, Gina Yarnell five great grandchildren, Kayla Turpin, Kyle Angel, Devyn and Alexandra Cariel, Briley Jo Johnson and Caleb Yarnell, one great great grandchild, Taylor Leeann Turpin, three sisters, Jeanetta (Denny) Callico, Donna Ferguson, Trudy (Ikie) McKinney, three brothers, E.W.(Betty) Haggard, Roy (Susie) Haggard Jr., Glen 'Bobo' (Kaye) Haggard, a brother in law, Gilbert Wilder and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Lee Haggard, a sister Lucille Wilder and a brother, Billy Haggard Service will be 1:30 pm Friday, May 23, 2014 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Earl Walls officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
