Larkin 'June' Hurt, 88, husband of Pansy Donahue Locker Hurt, of Cobb Lane, died February 13, 2012 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was a farmer who loved to raise horses and beagles, hunt rabbits and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a native of Jessamine County and son of the late Harrison and Annie Hager Hurt. Additional survivors include a special nephew, Allen Thomas(Glodean) Hager, grandchildren, Heath Allen (Lisa) Hager, Troy Dean (Dawn) Hager and Larkin McClain (Jennifer) Hager, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, a sister, Marie Moberly, a brother, Mike (Louise) Hurt, nieces, Nyoka Stotts and Wilda Grant along with numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Hurt, a sister, Hazel Masters and a nephew, Donald Hurt. Services will be 11:00am Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Sean Shroll. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Wednesday. Bearers will be Heath, Troy, Mac and Rex Hager, Clinton Hurt and Jeff Stotts. Honorary bearers will be Nelson, Johnny, Terry, Duke, William L. and William A. Hager, Billy Riley, Louie Grall, Danny Preston, Eddie Dean Locker, Jimmy Welch and Hugh 'Nookie' Stotts.
