Larry Wayne Bennett

Larry Wayne Bennett, 68, husband of Bonita Kaye Taylor, passed away on Saturday September 1, 2018. He was born to the late Cleo and Flossie Lowry in Fayette County, on July 14, 1950. Larry was the owner of Lift Truck. Larry is survived by his son James (Misty) Taylor, daughter Margo (Bobby) Purchase, brothers Johhny Bennett, and Gordon “Tubb” Bennett, and a sister Mary Lynn Bennett, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 11:00AM, Thursday, September 6, at Betts and West Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 5:00PM-8:00PM, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be Johnnie Bennett, Jr., Johnny, Justin, and Eugene Portwood, Chris Bennett, Gulian Blanton, Phillip Murphy, and Austin McClure. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby and Justin Purchase, Aiden and Cruz Blanton, and Joe Meador. Larry is in preceded in death by his brother, the late David Bennett.
