Laura Bell 'Pud' Tillett, 81, died Monday, May 26, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Ben Horton and Arlie Flannery Horton Taylor. She was a retired employee of the Thompson Hood Veteran Center. Survivors include her children, Mary (Sam) Cox, Lawrence 'Bubby' Tillett, Becky (Gene) Smith, Keith (Cindy) Tillett and Tony Underwood, numerous grand and great grandchildren, two brothers, Ben and Gilbert Horton and a sister Peggy Houge. She was preceded in death by a son, George Tillett, two grandchildren, Eugene Smith Jr. and Jessica Smith, several brothers and sisters. Services will be 11:00am Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Wednesday.
