Lenora Crockett Yanosh

Lenora Crockett Yanosh, 97, widow of Lewis 'Dick' Yanosh, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Lenora was born April 2,1917 in Fredericktown, PA to the late William and Anna Warner Crockett . She lived many years in Greensboro, PA. Lenora and her late husband Dick celebrated 59 years of marriage. She enjoyed working with greenware and painting and firing ceramic items. Lenora moved to Wesley Village in 1998 and joined the Wilmore Free Methodist Church. Lenora is survived by her three daughters, Norann Y. Planchock (Jerry) of Shreveport, LA; Ludene Y. Capone of Bowie, MD; and Dickie Lee Porter (Dexter) of Wilmore, KY. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Marda Planchock Collings (Jon) of Kansas City, MO; Leann Planchock Gage (Joe) of Cincinnati, OH; Isaac W. Porter (Melissa) of Durham, NC; Jared L. Porter (Sara) of Wilmore and Anna Lee Porter Brown (Matthew) of Wilmore, KY. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son Charles William Yanosh and one brother William Warner Crockett. Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday at Wilmore Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 9 AM until time of service. Graveside service will be in Greensboro, PA.
