Leo Bradford Travers

June 25, 2001 — January 12, 2017

Leo Bradford Travers, 15, son of Robert Gerstner and Candice Evelyn Travers and brother of Cooper Benjamin Travers died Thursday, January 12, 2017. Leo was a special kid who was admired, respected and loved by his teachers, friends and coaches as being thoughtful, sincere and kind to everyone he knew. He has left a lasting impression on those that knew him. He attended Southland Christian Church, played baseball with the Kentucky Rockers, wrestled for Jessamine County, was an avid soccer player, liked to fish and enjoyed music and being with his friends. Additional family survivors are his maternal grandparents, Steven and Pamela England, paternal grandparents, Robert and Catherine Travers, maternal great grandparent, Sally Bradford and Frank Korpics, an uncle, Benjamin K. Travers and many close family members in New York and Kentucky. Service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Southland Christian Church with Ked Frank officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Southland Christian Church. Bearers will be Robert G. Travers, Cooper B. Travers, Steven England, Benjamin K. Travers, Robert N. Travers and Justin R.
