Leon Vincent Montague, baby boy of Logan Patrick and Hannah Noelle Montague, was freed from his battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. In his final moments on this earth, Leon was able to see the outdoors for the first time in his short but beautiful life in his parent's arms while surrounded by loved ones. He was a warrior until the end, with his fierce strength and lion's heart. He was a precious gift with a gentle soul, and was loved by many people. Additional survivors include his mama's parents: Daniel and Janie Gates, his daddy's parents: Patrick and Trudy Montague, as well as his mama's grandparents: William and Judy Gates, and Henry Arrowood, along with several aunts, uncles and friends. A Celebration Service will begin at 3:45pm, the same time that Leon left this earth, this following Saturday at Betts and West Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 until time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, Please consider making a small donation to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, with a specification of their fantastic Heart Institute, Or Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati in Leon Montague's honor.
