Lillian Burton Carr

Lillian Burton Carr, 76, widow of James E. Carr, passed Saturday, March 21, 2015. She was born March 31, 1938 in Lexington, KY to the late Lee and Lillie Frances Farris Burton. She loved to take care of her grandchildren and liked to work, being manager of Old KY Chocolates for over thirty five years. Family survivors are two children, Karen Blair and Keith Carr, a granddaughter, Kristal (Drew) Blair, two great grandchildren, Terra and Talia Mueller, a step granddaughter, Toni Popplewell and her children, a sister, Julia Burton Derosett, a special niece, Sandy Royalty, sister in law, Gay (Bobby) Doyle and other family members. Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Gene Young officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service Wednesday. Bearers will be Chris Goodpaster, Robert Brown, Jeff Brown, Michael Walton and Lee Dillow.
