Linda Jenkins

Linda Jenkins, 62, widow of John Preston -Jay- Jenkins died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She attended New Hope Fellowship and worked for Stanley, formally Sergeant & Greenleaf, for thirty five years. Survivors are her two children, Sandra D. -Big Red- Cobb of Nicholasville, Elizabeth Ann -Bubbles- Barnett of Broadhead, grandchildren, Adam Jeffery Cobb, Stephanie Marie and Crystal Lee Barnett, great grandchild, Caden Joseph Barnett, sisters Betty Collins, Ruth Ann Finson, Patricia Justice, brothers, Selbert and Sonny Smedley, numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by three children, Tommy Dean Harvey, Lonnie and Donnie Harvey, a grandchild, Joseph Harvey and a brother, Jerry Smedley. Services 1:00 pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 until 7:00 pm today at the funeral home. Bearers will be James Hurt, Jerry Smedley Jr., Jerry and Valis Smedley, Janie Justus and Scott Harper.
