Linnie Dillingham Brown

Linnie Dillingham Brown, 92, widow of Vernon Brown, died July 11, 2008. She was born October 11, 1915 in Rockcastle County, KY to the late Dallas and Matie Owens Dillingham. Linnie was a retired farmer and member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Leslie Brown Buckler-Versailles, three grandchildren, Felicia (Tony) Pitasi, Rita Brown (Tim) Maple, Michael (Danielle) Sorrell, four great grandchildren, Eric Matthews, Steve R. Olekas, Shelby and Taylor Sorrell, a sister, Alberta Winsted and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sorrell. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Leonard Fitch officiating and burial to follow at 2:00 PM in Providence Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be Monday form 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jay Lindsey, Mark Lay, Gary, Brian, David and Craig Gunn, Jimmy L. and Roy Winsted.
