Lonnie Wayne Myers, 74, husband of Nancy Raye Wilson Myers, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. Lonnie was retired from IBM, was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and a Honorably Discharged US Marine Corp Reservist. Additional survivors are daughters Cindy (Steve) Woolums, Rebecca (Eli) Smith, six grandchildren -Corey Thomas 'CT' Smith, Kayla Raye & Jon Ruggiero, Allison, Sarah, Amanda, & Stephen Woolums, one great-grandson, Jaxen Ruggiero, a sister, Barbara Ann (Dennis) Smith, bother-in-laws/sister-in-laws, Bobby Day (Anna) Wilson, James-Harry (Carole) Wilson, great-aunts, neices, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents TE & Rosa Myers and grand-daughter Stephanie Woolums. Graveside services will be 10am Friday at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation and celebration will be held from 5-9pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home.
