Louella Henry Houp

Louella Henry Houp, 87, widow of Robert Kenneth Houp, of Wilmore, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Cedar Hurst Senior Living in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born on August 15, 1936, in Nicholasville, to the late James William “Bill” Henry and Letitia Clouse Henry. She was a member of the Wilmore Methodist Church. Louella enjoyed gardening, flowers, and taking care of her home. Survivors include her son, Robert Kenneth Houp Jr. (Vanda), daughter, Sue Ann Houp Crowe (Murle), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 19, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplain Diane Munoz and Pastor Dwight Winter officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, where pallbearers will be Murle Crowe, Zach Moses, Shane Raines, Robert Kenneth Houp III, Adam Land Houp, and Stevie Duggins. J.D. Houp will serve as an honorary bearer. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.
