Nicholasville-Louis Hager, 85, of South Main Street, died February 28, 2008 at his home after a brief illness. He was a veteran of WW II and a retired farmer. Survivors include three children, Louis (Patricia) Hager, James R. Hager and Amanda (William) Curtsinger. He was preceded in death by two children Audie L. -Hoss- Hager and his surviving wife Lucretia, and Brenda -Pearl- Dickison and her surviving husband Mark. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Malinda (Shawn) Breeding, Rebekah (Corey) Hager, Jacob (Dana) Hager, James Louis Hager, William M. Hager and Leondra Hager, five great grandchildren, Jonathan Hager Frederick, Chelsea, Sierra, Grant and Trent Wilburn, a brother, Alvin (Frances) Hager, two sisters, Helen (Paul) Graham and Mary Evans. He was preceded in death by two brothers, A.J. Hager and James Roy -Knott- Hager and a sister Hazel Taylor. Services will be 1:00pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Powell Whitlock. Visitation will be Friday from 2-9pm and from 10:00am until time of service Saturday. Burial will be in the Mose Reynolds Cemetery. Bearers will be Jackie and Jeff Graham, Mike, Ronnie, Johnny and Terry Hager. Honorary bearers will be Paul Graham, Hoover Peel, James Hager, William M. Hager, Jacob Hager and Mark Dickison, Allen Hager, Johnny Dale Hager and Elwood Hager.
