Louise Welch Fain Teater, 88, widow of Kirby Teater, passed Saturday, January 9, 2016. She was born March 27, 1927 in Jessamine County to the late Robert Archie and Charity Marie Blakeman Fain. Louise loved to be around her family, was a member Little Hickman Christian Church, was co-founder of Jessamine Beauty Shop, a hairdresser for over twenty years and operator of Teater's Store for over forty years. Family survivors are two children, Bradley (Gayle) Teater and Thelma (Steve) Watkins, four grandchildren, Gregory Teater, Crystie (Matt) Young, Stephen Kirby (Erica) Watkins, and Amber Christine (Joe) Bruner, eight great grandchildren, Zachary Young, Alexis Charity Young, Ashleigh Teater, Kelcie Teater, Alyssa Watkins, Chiara Watkins, Abigail Grace Bruner and Samuel Kirby Bruner and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Dean and a brother, George Fain. Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Baltzer and Bro. Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Gregory Teater, Joe Bruner, Matt Young, Darrell Moore, Barry Dean, Bobby Dean and Ricky Cobb. Honorary Bearers will be the deacons and elders of Little Hickman Christian Church, Charles Wilson, Rusty Guy, Don Wilson and David Canter.
