Lovie Mcclaine May

Nicholasville-Lovie McClaine May, 83, widow of Leslie Craig May, of Churchill Crossing, died February 11, 2012. She was a member of the Southern Acres Christian Church and daughter of the late Melvin and Stella Hager Davis. Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Becky and Charles Withers, grandchildren, Celeste Keeling and Caroline Laning, special cousins, Marie Moberly and Nyoka Stotts and a special friend, Maxine Reynolds. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Davis. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Cameron McDonald officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Monday. Bearers will be Robert Carter III, Gary Carter, Edward Lee Carter, Hugh 'Nookie' Stotts Jr., Terry and Michael Withers, John Coyle and Robert Young.
