Mabel Dixon Boggs

August 21, 1918 — May 15, 2009

Nicholasville-Mabel Dixon Boggs, 90, wife of Earl Boggs of Cannonball Drive, died unexpectedly Friday, May 16, 2009. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Logan, WV. She was a native of Letcher County, daughter of the late Pearl B. and Cora Fields Dixon. Survivors include two children and their spouses, Earl Eugene and Barbara F. Boggs and Michael W. and Susan B. Boggs, all of Nicholasville, seven grandchildren, Leah Ann Turner, James C. McCall, Bridgit N. Boggs, Kathryn A. Boggs, Rachael Laurie, Suzanne Feinstein and Patrick G. Boggs, two sisters, Grethel M. Nichols and Opal Williams, a daughter in law, Carol Boggs, numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by two children, Gary P. Boggs and Anita J. Click. Services will be 10:30am Monday at Jessamine Christian Church. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-7pm today. Family members will serve as bearers.
