Margaret Ann Peel Fugate, 90, widow of Eldon “Butch” Fugate, passed Tuesday, December 05, 2017. She was born June 30, 1927 in Jessamine County to the late Bob and Mary Bonnie Hatton Peel. Margaret was a member of Nicholasville Christian Church, a volunteer at Royal Manor Nursing Home for over fifteen years, and had been employed by Sloan’s Market for over fifty years. Family survivors are a brother, Joe C. (Linda Jane) Peel, nieces and nephews, Brenda (Sterling) Staggs, Bruce (Debbie) Warner, Barry Peel, John R. (Karen) Peel, Deanna (Steve) Taylor, great nieces and nephews, Dr. Lydia Ann Staggs, Sarah Elizabeth Staggs, Scott Warner, Curtis Warner, and J.R. (Faith) Peel, great grand nieces and nephews, Emily and Maddie Peel, and Jasper Stuber, special neighbors, Walter Marcum and Sue Witson. Margaret was also preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Warner and Dr. Nancy Peel. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Rev. Lon Oliver officiating.
