Margaret Christine "Chris" Bain

Margaret Christine 'Chris' Bain, 84, widow of Lloyd H Bain, died unexpectedly, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her home in Nicholasville. Chris was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky on November 14, 1932 to the late Robert 'Bill' and Oma Marie Murphy. Chris will be remembered above all else as a loving and nurturing mother who worked hard all her life. She enjoyed family, flowers, word find puzzles, and playing cards with her friends at the Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include her children, Ron (Frances) Bain, Patricia 'Susie' (Sherman) Hatter, David (Sharon) Bain, Lee (Betsy) Bain, Robert Bain, and Carolyn Burgin, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Betts and West Funeral Home with Bros. Lee Baltzer and Jay Webb officiating.
