Margaret Clay Bibb Johns

Margaret Clay Bibb Johns, 90, widow of Hunter Johns and life long resident of Jessamine County, died May 27, 2009 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was a member of the Little Hickman Christian Church. A banker for 34 years, she retired in 1980 as Vice President of First National Bank, Nicholasville. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Lynda and Tom Smith, three grandsons, Glenn Thomas Smith Jr., his wife Sue Lou Smith and their children, Emily and Amy Kate, Steve Hunter Smith and his daughter, Alex and Michael Nolan Smith, his wife Heather and their children Hunter and Tyler, two sisters, Evelyn Dean Lemay and Louise Dean Anderson and a sister in law, Marjorie Bibb. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Bibb. Services will be 10:00am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Baltzer and Rev. Jeff Mandrell. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm Thursday. Bearers will be her grandsons, James -Buck- Merida, Jesse Lemay and Jimmy Bowman.
