Margaret Jane Welch Stafford

Margaret Jane Welch Stafford, 91, widow of William Tecumseh Stafford, died February 17, 2011 in Portland, OR. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Peyton Welch and Margaret Kenney Cassell Welch. She was employed for years at the Jessamine County Library and was active in the Nicholasville Presbyterian Church in her later years. Survivors include two children, Peyton (Diane) Stafford and Margaret Stafford, grandchildren, Sarah, Ada and Adam Stafford, great grandchildren, Christopher and Alder Silkie. She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Stafford. Services will be 10:00am Wednesday March 2, 2011 at the Nicholasville Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery.
