Marilyn A. (Montgomery) Hylton, 72, passed away July 6, 2014, in Lexington, KY. She was born August 30, 1941, and was the daughter of the late George Kenneth and Mary Lydia (Rossi) Montgomery of Grove City, PA. She was a graduate of Moniteau High School in Butler County, PA, and Asbury University, Wilmore, KY. She married James L. Hylton December 27, 1977. She taught health and physical education for 34 years in the following school districts in Ohio: Lowellville schools (6 years) where she taught health and physical education in grades 3-12, was cheerleader coach, Y-teens advisor, and coach of the Y-teen volleyball team; East Liverpool where she taught health and physical education, coached 7th, 8th, and 9th grade cheering squads, and sponsored the pep club for 19 years. She was a member of Canfield United Methodist Church, Canfield, OH, and Canfield Republican Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, and husband James Hylton. She is survived by her sister Darlene (Montgomery) Elliott, brother-in-law Mark Elliott as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
