Marvin Osten Roe

Marvin Osten Roe, 82, husband of Delores 'Lois' Roe, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. He was born on July 12, 1933 in Carter County to the late Venis and Sarah Elizabeth Boggs Roe. Marvin was a retired carpenter and loved hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Roe, four sons, Donald (Sherry) Roe, Osten (Bonnie) Roe, Earsel Roe and Roger Roe, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Passon Roe and three daughters, Rosie Roe, Linda Scarbough and Bonnie Sue Gorman. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
