Mary Ann Smith Middleton

Nicholasville-Mary Ann Smith Middleton, 70, wife of Dave Middleton of Danville Road, died December 2, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She attended the New Hope Fellowship Church and was a former employee of Wards Landing. She was born in Jessamine Co., daughter of the late Grover and Arizona Davis Smith. Additional survivors include two children and their spouses, Donna and Dane Deaton, Davy and Sandy Middleton, five grandchildren, Kevin, John and Brittany Ann Deaton, Bo (Heather) Middleton and Brandy (Chris) Kraft, two sisters, Linda (Joe) Rhineheimer and Marie (C.J.) Slales, a brother, Logan (Kathy) Smith, numerous nieces and nephews, two special friends, Beverly Stipe and Ruby Byrd. She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene McKinney. Services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Riley. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Tuesday. Bearers will be Kevin and John Deaton, Bo Middleton and Scotty Middleton, Richard Stipe and Gary Middleton. Donations may be made to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
