Mary Helen Walker Scott Burch, 92, wife of Clellie Burch, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home in Nicholasville. She was born in Jessamine County on November 11, 1929, to the late John L. Walker and Vina Dean Walker. She is survived by a son, Billy Logan Scott (Vickie), a daughter, Laqueta Shaw (Terry), a sister, Ann Bruner Corman, four grandchildren, Rebecca Shaw Newby (Cody), Micaela Shaw, Nikki Bickford (Scott), and Brandy Scott Eleton (Cameron), five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Brother Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Kevin McDonald, Scott Bickford, Gayle Walker, Danny Ray Clark, Kevin Corman, and Joe Walker. Honorary bearers will be Logan Bickford, Greyson Scott Payton, David Teater, Greg Becknell, Lowell Duncan, Cody Newby, and Terry Shaw. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 PM, Monday, at the funeral home.
