Mary Pauline Peel Brooks

Mary Pauline Peel Brooks, 96, widow of Gilbert Brooks, died Friday, December 23, 2011. She was born April 8, 1915 to the late Morris Jones and Olive Peel Peel. Survivors are two children, Donald L. Brooks of Nicholasville and Bernard G. (Brenda) Brooks of Garrard County, two grandchildren, Candella Michelle (Jerry Johns Jr.) Brooks and Kevin D. (Crystal) Brooks, both of Nicholasville, six grandchildren, Loryn, Jerri Lynn, Noah, Zachary, Katie and Landen Brooks, a sister, Oneida (Welch) Cassity, two nieces, Marsha Ruth and Lucia Ann Cassity, a nephew, Jimmie J. Peel, special friends, Dorothy Woods, Dorothy Mulchay, Julie Crutcher and Sue Cobb. Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with The Reverend Lisa R. Eye officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service Wednesday.
