Maynard "Mac" Eugene Mckee

Maynard “Mac” Eugene McKee, 72, husband of Janet Clair Nelson McKee, passed Sunday, September 24, 2017. He was born July 18, 1945 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to the late Eugene Clark and Betty Jean Nichols McKee Skaggs. He was an Air Force Viet Nam Veteran, member of Moose International, NRA, loved flea markets, camping and hiking, traveling, and yard work. Survivors are four children, Patrick (Nancy) Woods, Sue Ellen Vest, Richard (Julie) Woods, and Wendy (Ernie) Ernst, thirteen grandchildren, Patrick McDonald, James (Monica) Ramer, Charlie Keeton, Maegan Vest, L.E. Vest, Ryann Vest, Megan Woods, Lucas Woods, Lydia Woods, Kyle Ernst, Darrin Spencer-Jones, Nathan Hoskins, and Kiersten Hoskins, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Anna (Mike) Culley and Judy Coyle, and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Nicholas Vest. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Bearers will be Ernie Ernst, Kyle Ernst, Nathan Hoskins, Darrin Spencer-Jones, Richard Woods, and Patrick Woods. Contributions suggested to: Mooseheart Child City & School, 155, S.
