Melinda Francis Watts

Melinda Francis Watts, 78, widow of Roy Watts, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Jessamine County on January 13, 1946, to the late Clayton Rogers and Hazel Tutor Rogers. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Clarence Rogers (Angela) and Charlie Rogers (Ronda); daughter, Debbie Brumfield (Jimmy); brother, William Rogers; sister, Judy Cox; grandchildren, Mandy, Julia, Charlene, and Brandy; as well as five great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, Roy, her long-time companion, Henry Brock, and six siblings. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 1, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where family and friends will serve as bearers. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
