Mickey Mallory

September 10, 1930 — July 10, 2009

Nicholasville-Mickey Mallory, 78, husband of Doris Atlogic Mallory, formerly of Terre Haute, IN, died July 10, 2009. He was a retired ironworker, member of Local Union #70, was a former employee of Duncan Machinery, a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Southland Christian Church. He was the son of the late Forrest and Harriett Benger Mallory. Additional survivors include two children, Nancy Mallory (David) Houge and Karen Mallory (Tom) David, a daughter in law, Olivia Peel Mallory, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Sue Dunigan and Helen -Bebe- Reed, two brothers, Bill and Frank Mallory. He was preceded in death by a son, George Mallory and a granddaughter, Alysan David. Services will be 1:30pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
