Mike Hurt

Nicholasville-Mike Hurt, 96, husband of Louise Hurt, and widower of his first wife, the late Ursula Hurt, died August 8, 2014. He was a farmer, retired employee of the Bluegrass Stockyard and member of Mt. Beulah Methodist Church. Survivors include two grandsons, Mike (Julia) Hurt and Clint Hurt, great grandchildren, Leah Hurt, C.W. Hurt and Tosha Janette, two great great grandchildren, Lillian Hurt and Deliah Janette, step children, Donna Hammond, Connie Mellon, Terry and Bobby Weber, a sister, Marie Moberly, a grand daughter in law, Diane Hurt and several other family members. He was also preceded in death by his son, Donald Welch Hurt and his wife Joyce Lowry Hurt. Services will be 1:30pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. John Carroll and Bro.
